Who is responsible

This site is run by Y Analytics, the consultancy of Yash Shah, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (KvK 96135131). For any question about your data, email hello@y-analytics.com.

What this site collects

The site sets no cookies and has no forms.

It counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics: which pages are viewed, which website a visitor came from, the country, and how fast the page loaded. According to Cloudflare, this uses no cookies and does not identify or follow individual visitors.

Services that load when you visit

A few outside services are needed to show the pages. Each one receives your IP address, as any website you visit does.

Cloudflare hosts the site, delivers the pages and counts visits as described above.

Google Fonts supplies the typefaces.

Wakelet supplies the article pictures, which load when you open one of the content panels on the home page.

When you contact me

If you email me, I keep your message and address so I can reply.

If you book a call, the booking runs on Google Calendar. Google receives the name and email address you enter and sends the invitation with a Google Meet link. I use those details only to hold the call.

How long I keep it

Emails and bookings are kept for as long as the conversation or the working relationship lasts. Records that Dutch tax law requires, such as invoices, are kept for seven years.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you, or object to how it is used. Email me and I will respond within a month. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
